Gabrielle Union Gushes Over The First Native American Player In The NWSL

‘Today’s #WCW just had a history-making debut in the National Women���s Soccer League (NWSL): @gohaamm. Madison is the first Native American player in the NWSL, and marked her spot in history over the weekend when she took the field,’ Gabrielle began her post.

She continued an said: ‘Not to mention, this game was also her FIRST professional game… way to start off strong!!! Her response when asked how she felt about being the first Native American in the league sums it all up and highlights why she is my #WCW: “I’m really excited to be the first Native American to play in the NWSL, but I’m more excited to not be the last. The only way that happens is if you see people that look like you doing what you want to do.” Let us lift her up in the light of goodness and hold her there.’
